He held key roles in notable organizations and spearheaded business strategies that helped those institutions grow. He become a part of several organizations across the globe.

His expertise in finance and real estate have lead him to work with some of the best people on the most competitive platforms. Here’s a list of some of the organizations that had become part of his corporate journey.

Booz Allen Hamilton

He became a management consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton during the 1990s. They are now a global enterprise that offers a wide array of industry-specific solutions. Their services include consulting, engineering, engineering, and international development.

Colony Capital

Hong Kong became Home for Grant Kelley during his tenure in Colony Capital. He was in charge of the company’s operations in the Asia Pacific region.

The company leaned towards grabbing investment opportunities for real-estate-related assets. Kelley had a hand in securing major acquisitions during his time as Colony’s CEO.

Apollo Global Management

Kelley headed Apollo’s real estate enterprise in the Asia Pacific after the New-York based giant acquired CPI (Citi Property Investors). He oversaw the general direction and management of Apollo’s business in the region for 4 years since 2010.

City Developments Limited

City Developments Limited or CDL is a multinational real estate firm founded in 1963. Grant Kelley was appointed to the newly formed position of CEO (Chief Executive Officer) in 2014. The company banked on his experience in the international scene.

Initially having a heavily Singaporean-based operation, Kelley steered the company towards a more diversified portfolio and focused on the Chinese, Australian, and British markets.

They own a large sheep estate across the Fleurieu Peninsula and NBL’s Adelaide’s Sixers among other key assets in the Southern Australian region.

Kelley is the proud owner and chairman of the Sixers, South Australia’s representative in the NBL (National Basketball League). As a man who loves the sport, he continues to maintain and manage the team to keep the basketball spirit alive. He announced plans for expansions in 2020 and has proven to grow the club to this day.

Vicinity Centre

He became the CEO of Vicinity Centre, one of Australia’s leading real estate development firms, in 2018. The company specializes in shopping centers and retail stores.

Kelley stood on top of the management team when the pandemic hit and did a great job in immediate response and recovery. He had maintained Vicinity’s strong financial and operational position despite unfavorable events.


Grant Kelley has just announced his retirement from Vicinity Centre after 5 years of service but still holds several key positions in other companies. There haven’t been any recent updates on whether he will take an active role for a new firm.
